All submissions to Pharmadesc Spectrum undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts in the relevant field, followed by an editorial decision made by a human editor. AI tools may assist editorial staff with administrative tasks such as plagiarism screening or reference checking, but final editorial decisions are always made by qualified human editors.
Reviewers are asked to evaluate originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and — where applicable — the completeness and accuracy of AI disclosure statements. Reviewers are provided with guidance on identifying common issues in AI-assisted manuscripts, including fabricated or hallucinated references and superficial analysis.
Reviewers and editors are strictly prohibited from uploading unpublished manuscripts, associated data, or review materials to any public or third-party AI tool. This policy protects author confidentiality and intellectual property throughout the review process.
